Akaiya Thomas, originally from Dallas, Texas, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University, a distinguished HBCU in Texas. She has extensive professional experience in operations and staffing leadership roles. Currently, Served as the Deputy Operations Director at Scale for Change, an organization dedicated to scaling and growing partner organizations through community organizing principles. In her role, she focused on organizing, hiring, and building structures for the communities these organizations serve. Outside of work, Akaiya is a devoted mother to her daughter and maintains strong, close relationships with her family and friends.
